It’s Christmas again! I’m far from being done with my chores and I’m blogging for almost one year. Therefor I’m

• mich zu bedanken, bei all meinen fleissigen Lesern und jenen, die meinem Blog folgen. Für Euch mache ich das, mit Familie und Freunden verbindet es mich und mittlerweile lesen diesen Blog zwischen 2 – 3tausend Menschen monatlich, je nach Saison, Lust und Laune und Beiträgen. Wer hätte das gedacht!
• I’m saying “thank you“ to all my dear readers and those following this blog. I write for you, I feel connected to family and friends and by now, approximately 2 – 3thousand people are reading this blog monthly. How astonishing!
• ein Dankeschön zu senden an die Verlage, die mir so großzügig ihre Rezensionsexemplare zur Verfügung gestellt haben. Ganz viele tolle Bücher konnte ich Euch so vorstellen, die jetzt in meinen Regalen wohnen und uns sehr bereichern. Vielen Dank!
• also thanking those publishing houses who were so generously giving away their reviewer’s copies so that I could present to you all those wonderful books that are now living with us. Thank you!
• einmal ganz klar zu sagen, dass ich die wunderbarste Familie der Welt habe! Ich frage mich oft, wie sie es mit mir aushalten, dieser chaotischen, cholerischen, arbeitssüchtigen Mama – aber irgendwie mögen sie mich wohl und sind sehr geduldig mit mir.
• telling the one and only truth. I have the most wonderful family in the world!  Sometimes I’m wondering how it comes that they all are still with me, who I am a messy, choleric and a workaholic mama. Anyhow it looks as if they like me nevertheless and they are all very patient. 
• ein paar Tage Blogurlaub zu nehmen. Ich habe sehr gern geschrieben dieses Jahr und freue mich, nach ein paar Tagen Pause wieder weiter schreiben zu können.
• taking a few days off. I loved writing for all of you that whole year long and I’m looking forward to seeing you again after a few days winter break.
