Oh, unser Haus verändert sich sehr. Manchmal hat der Wille Kraft, Wände einzureissen. Manchmal ist es auch Hans, der mit Rammbo (so heißt unser Helfer aus dem Baumarkt) eine Wand einreisst. Dabei kann ich ihm nicht helfen, denn ich kann dieses Mörderding nicht einmal hoch heben. Aber ich kann schaufeln, das habe ich bewiesen. Einen ganzen Nachmittag lang habe ich eine Tonne Stahlbeton in Eimer geschaufelt und hinunter zum Container getragen, vier lange Stunden hindurch. Abends war ich zu müde zum Schlafen. Am nächsten Tag haben wir noch gekehrt und nun haben wir eine Wand weniger und ich endlich eine offene Küche. Ich freue mich so, einen Schritt sind wir weiter.

Was habt Ihr diese Woche drinnen und draußen gemacht?

Oh, this house of ours is changing. Sometimes we are strong enough, to remove walls, sometimes we have to get help. This time we got help by Rammbo (from our local hardware store). I couldn’t even think of lifting him, but Hans teared down the wall. All I had to do was shovel one ton of armored concrete into two buckets and carry them downstairs to the container. For four hours. In the evening I was to tired to sleep. Anyway, the next day we had to clean up and now I got a beautiful open kitchen. Almost.
